Can I still use my power button?
Yes.
Do I need an app?
No.
Do I need Home Assistant?
No. The PokyPow also has a web interface and a REST API. You can control your PC via the web interace as well.
However, advanced automations will need Home Assistant or another Smart Home Ecosytem.
How does the PokyPow get power?
When your motherboard has always USB power enabled:
- Over the USB2.0 Header from your Mainboard
- USB-C
or even an external power supply.
